Production Accessibility
Little Lemon Productions strives to include all actors regardless of their access needs. By having open communication with cast members, we are able to create plans of accessibility, leading to more inclusive productions. We never want a performer to be in a place where they are doing something unsafe for their body or wellbeing. We encourage everyone to take care of themselves and adapt blocking, dancing, and music to their access needs. We do our best to ensure all locations we work in are as accessible as possible. If you have any concerns, please reach out, and we will do our best to support you and create an equitable theatre experience for everyone.
Health Accessibility
Little Lemon Productions works with actors with an array of health needs. When joining a production, we offer all cast members an opportunity to share with us any health concerns we may need to be aware of. After communication, we create a Health Safety Plan in case of emergencies. Our staff receives a copy of any Health Safety Plans. This way, we are prepared to assist a cast member regardless of which team members are present at the time of the event.
Sensory Accessibility
Little Lemon Productions never uses strobe lights or flashing lights in any production. Our goal is that audience members and actors are able to enjoy our productions regardless of their sensory needs. For each production, please ensure you check the sensory content notices on the website before attending the theatre. For productions with specific sensory concerns, e.g. gun shots, loud noises, etc. we are able to provide warning to audience members upon request. For example, we could share the scene and line cue for a sound effect or lighting cue. If you have any concerns or need to enjoy a night at the theatre, please email us and let us know. We would love to make the theatre accessible to you!
